The "NEW" text overlay can overlap onto the wrong screen

When the player unlocks something for the Mission Start screen (where the player can re-organize their squad, upgrade them, etc.), the text overlay of "NEW" will appear next to that unlock.

But if the player then goes back to the Gear Screen (where the player can upgrade their weapons, purchase melee weapons, etc.), the text overlay remains on the screen which appears confusing.

Though, if the player then quits from the mission console to go into free roaming mode then returns to the console, the "NEW" text overlay will have been cleared and does not prove to be an issue until the player again unlocks something for the Mission Start screen.
