    No.

There was a thread at Lovers Lab where we tried to get something going, but it's not going to happen. And, quite frankly, everyone would be 100% more interested in modding BoneTown, since it is a sandbox game (like Oblivion and Skyrim, which have an active community of sex modders). No one wants to mod a linear game like BoneCraft.

Yeah, that makes sense. I also enjoyed BoneTown much much more. If BoneTown could get some RPG or depth going (more dialogue options, or a sort of dialogue system) and more positions, you could have an awesome game.

You know, this is a completely silly statement. Bonecraft and Bonetown are on the same engine. The reason people aren't modding Bonecraft isn't because they'd be MORE interested in modding Bonetown. You could theorhetically create mods to TURN Bonecrafter into an open world game. Extended maps, random encounters, a more goofy and warped view of reality... What are the real reasons it won't happen?
1.) They own Bonetown, they don't own Bonecraft. They are simply not willing to pay 40 bucks for a game they have already decided isn't as good. Bonecraft, I think, has FAR more potential... but the amount of content is on the low end. They need to release more for the game. You could release an expansion to purchase.... but you don't have enough players already. It would be more prudent to release the content for free to people who OWN the game. Pair it with a price drop to the main title, and follow up with the release of a microtransation system.... so previous legacy expansions can be purchased. Then start releasing small stuff each month, for free, to legacy users. If it works well enough, you can release multiple things each month... a legacy user gets one for free, and has to micropurchase the other choices... the only way to get those purchase numbers up is the remorse of a "non-buyer"... those skeptics and pirates. If they wish they HAD bought it... they eventually WILL.
2.) They can't make money modding this game. This is entirely fair... there are plenty of games that people mod for no compensation. However, those have a critical mass of players/community size that drives ideas and creates interest in such at thing. They might have given tutorials for using the mod tools, but who wants to learn how, if barely anyone has the game to begin with? You need something to make modding WORTH it. It's not a snap, so that "Price" is higher.
3.) Not owning Bonecraft or a legitimate copy of it, they are willing to wait for the next "Bone" game, and likely believe that mod tools will be made for them. (Slightly faulty logic. The tools were made for Bonecrafter... D-Dub is just as likely or more to decide the tools were never a good idea... and never waste time on an expansion project like that again.)
4.) The forums feel like a Ghost Town... I can count the regular posters here on one hand, an amoung us, our posts are far and few between. Is it possible people are embarressed to participate in the forums for a porn game they own... but I doubt it. It's hard to feel shame on the internet. If there were more people coming to these forums, then you could justify having D-Dub employee's talk to us on here more... which would generate interest and get more people.

Hey, I'm sure there are other reasons too. Here's another idea... Why not work with celebrity pornstars.... add characters voiced and based on them and thier favorite Science Fiction/fantasty themes. Everyone loves a mashup.
