    Game Settings File

    Hi there!

I've been having a lot of trouble getting BoneCraft to change screen resolution; it just stops responding to my mouse for some reason.

Anyway, this means I have to force it to close, so the resolution isn't saved and it just opens up with the default 1024 x 768, which is way too small with all the user interface stuff everywhere. What I'm wondering is where BoneCraft stores its settings? I was hoping to try changing the resolution there, to see if it will work okay when I open it up at the correct size, rather than trying to change it normally.

I tried looking for the usual .ini file or whatever like many games have, but I couldn't see anything that looked right. Anyone know where the main game settings go?

    Thanks!

It looks like the game resolution settings (under Windows 7) are stored in:

    C:\Users\((YOUR USER NAME))\AppData\Roaming\BoneCraft\game\client\prefs .cs

where ((YOUR USER NAME)) = the user name you used when you made your Windows 7 account on your local game machine.

Found it, thanks! Dunno why the mouse cuts out when changing resolution in-game, as I've managed to set 1080p (1920 x 1080) using the settings file and everything's running smoothly. Probably need to tweak a few other settings while I'm at it, but it's a big step up from not being able to click on things!
