Mission 8: Can't pick up the jewel!

I'm at mission 8 part 2. The jewel is sitting there, a white triangle is pointing at it but I'm walking over it & nothing. Tried hitting it, b buttoning it. Nadda. Had to just back out. All my settings are on low.
Not sure what's up.

Here's the log of me running over it till i gave up. I could just be not doing something right, I dunno.

I've been playing w/ just lubbock. Guess he was busy boning! LOL!
Once I get back to lvl 8 I'll bring a full squad. I was wondering WTF
then we got the new patch n start over time again.
